Lynn Lidstone began her adventure as a hot glass and jewelry artist in the summer of 2002. She tends to use deep, rich colors, and relies heavily on nature and organic textures for inspiration. The result is often surprising and very satisfying as each piece takes on its own personality. Her work features simple, classic lines and artistic flair, which sets her apart from many bead and jewelry artists. She strives to grow and learn as a glass artist and as a jeweler. Her latest bead series, “Wildflowers of Michigan,” is the result of much research, travel and continuing study of wildflowers throughout Michigan and the techniques needed to recreate them in glass.
