Jeanne Rockett has made painting Michigan's woodlands and the shores of Lake Michigan her trademark. Jeanne attended Calvin College in Michigan and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for art education and interior design. Since then she has made her living painting and teaching art both privately and to elementary students. Her paintings have brought her numerous awards and honors, including First Place Winner in “Michigan’s Sesquicentennial Living Legend Art Competition” sponsored by the Department of Natural Resources.
